InterPro’s web-based application provides centralized online access to physician dictations, transcribed reports, and enables physician e-Signature. Physicians find it useful for locating and printing charts, finding dictations, and reviewing and signing-off on transcribed reports online. Coding specialists find it useful for obtaining transcribed reports immediately upon physician sign-off, as well as reviewing dictations for concurrent coding. HIM staff can use it to quickly locate and print charts and medical records managers can access supervisor reports online. Access to this proprietary tool is controlled via role-based authentication - ensuring individuals can only access information for which they are authorized.

• Secure, web-based access - Authorized users can securely sign on from any computer with an Internet connection.  Role-based authentication and 128-bit SSL data encryption combine to ensure patient data access is tightly controlled and secure.
• Electronic chart access - Physicians are presented a list of all transcribed reports that are awaiting their review and signature. Physicians and HIM staff can also search for medical records using a variety of attributes and subsequently print out a copy on a local printer.
• Physician e-Signature and editing - Physicians can review, edit and electronically signoff on transcribed reports from anywhere via the web. Each transcribed report includes a link that allows the physician to access and listen to the corresponding dictation. Bulk e-Sign feature enables physicians to review multiple reports at a time. Reject feature routes report back to QA or transcription with comments for action.
• Centralized dictation access and playback - Physicians are presented a list of all of their dictations and can also search for specific dictations by a wide variety of attributes. Dictations can be listened to conveniently via the web at the click of a button.
• Personalized home page - Every user is presented with their own personalized home page upon login that summarizes their account information in a single dashboard. Users can customize the layout and color scheme to their own personal preference.
• Supervisor reports - Medical records managers can access extensive graphical reports that provide a comprehensive view of all transcription activity - ready / transcribed / QA jobs, jobs summary, and job TATs.
• Physician error reports - Reports on medical record number and work type errors by physician enable HIM staff to identify problematic physicians and take corrective actions.
