InterPro's Quality Assurance staff evaluates the output of both the NLP coding software as well as the InterPro coding staff. This is done on an ongoing basis, using both random concurrent reviews and random retrospective reviews. Targeted reviews are also completed for codes and services that, due to their complexity, may require greater scrutiny and monitoring.
