InterPro Medical Solutions selected by Broadlane to provide Medical Transcription Services

Rockville, Maryland (August 18, 2004) - InterPro Medical Solutions, Inc. has been selected by Broadlane to provide medical transcription and information management services to Broadlane's alliance of 800 acute care hospitals, over 3,400 sub-acute care facilities and thousands of physician practices.

Broadlane experts conducted a year-long strategic sourcing process that analyzed transcription industry economics, operations and technology to identify best-in-class service providers for Broadlane customers. Broadlane's rigorous process addressed the most pressing needs in the medical transcription industry: price reduction, service level tracking, standardized billing methods, qualification and use of offshore transcription, subcontracting practices, qualification of technology platforms, and commitment by service providers to HIPAA compliance.

The multi-year agreement between InterPro Medical Solutions and Broadlane will deliver substantial cost savings to Broadlane customers. Customers will benefit from improved workflow and secure around-the-clock access to medical reports for doctors, administration and staff in addition to high quality, rapid turn around transcription services.
